Progress: Hey, I'm back! Well, after learning about the parts of the ukulele for the last extension, I've decided that it's time to learn about the chords. I looked up the basic chords on Google and looked through the images. I'm more of a visual learner so the images of the box chords were a lot easier for me than words describing them. However, there are so many chords so I feel like I'll have a hard time memorizing them all. Should I try to memorize them right now? Or should I wait? After contemplating for a while, I decided to just learn the most basic ones and eventually get to the other ones when I begin to understand how to play the instrument. I might forget them if I try to learn all of them now. Then, I began to watch a couple YouTube videos on the basics of the ukulele. I also watched videos on basic versions of songs and covers of my favorite songs with the uke too. I was able to learn so much more about the ukulele, once again.

Reflection: Well, this definitely was another marvelous learning experience for me. My patience was not affected this time, and I think that's a good sign because I rarely felt impatient as I gained knowledge. Regrettably, my time management worsened this time around. I didn't spend any time in class working on this blog because I was working on other stuff and ended up doing it at home. On a positive note, I didn't wait until last minute to complete this! My stress levels definitely decreased for this blog. Watching the YouTube videos and enjoying the music really did help me relax which I'm very thankful for. Not only did they lessen my stress, the videos increased my excitement to begin playing the ukulele! It looks so fun and easy (probably because they're professionals) so I can't wait to begin strumming! Stay tuned!
