Progress: Well it's been over 3 weeks since I last updated on my progress. I've been too busy with schoolwork so I haven't had the time to post a blog. However, I played around with the uke and learned some more about the chords over Thanksgiving break. Of course, I also spent some time watching ukulele tutorials on YouTube when I wasn't busy. My favorite YouTube channel that provides ukulele tutorials is probably U CAN UKE. This channel offers a lot of songs that I enjoy listening to and the instructions are so easy to understand. He begins with an introduction of the chords that will be used in the song which is extremely helpful for beginners and after watching many videos I realized that most channels don't offer this. Then he teaches the strumming pattern in the most simple way and even sings the lyrics while playing at the end of the video. Aside from videos, I also learned about the chord families online from none other than the website "Dummies" (link below). This article focused on explaining the chord families using the C family. This gave me a better understanding of the ukulele and will definitely be helpful when I begin learning to play songs (my goal for the next quarter :)).

Reflection: Sadly, my time management this time did not improve. I didn't use my time wisely in class during the extension so I had to work on this blog mostly at home. Despite that, I was able to learn a lot before writing this blog. My interest in learning the ukulele also increased a bit after watching many videos.
