Blog #11: Light At the End of a Very Long Tunnel

Progress: GUESS WHO HAD TIME TO PRACTICE AND NOT SUCK (as much)?? Me!! Okay, so I actually found time to work on the song "Riptide" since there were days I wasn't so drained from school andddd this week is also spring break so of course, I found the time to work on certain things. And I'm so glad to say that I have certainly improved from my last video. My transitions are much smoother since my fingers were becoming more used to chord switching. I think I only messed up once or twice in this video and I only had to do a a second take of the video so that's a good sign. I haven't decided if I should continue working on this song or move on to another song yet but I will be open to any opinions :). (psst please vote below)

Reflection: Although I was disappointed in myself in my last blog, I definitely feel the opposite for this one. Not only did I improve with my chord switching, I also was very patient with my progress even through all the obstacles. This will be my last blog for this quarter but I'm happy to say that all my goals are achieved this time! I was able to learn to play two songs and work on my pauses over time. I realized that each time I work on a new song, the pauses will return but it will go away as I practice more and more. I can't wait to challenge myself next quarter!
